Over most of Africa Wild Dogs are really endangered but for some unknown reason do not seem to attract the attention afforded to so many "plentiful" species,I can only presume it is because of the entirely undeserved reputation the have been given by "naturalists".
It was therefore very pleasing for us to find them for the very first time in Savute, albeit a pack of only 6, Mum Dad and four pups. We can only hope they thrive!

Love it Ken, superb image quality and a nice simple composition that shows off the dog's pose. I always like to see a little bit of water in a photo when it's possible.
