Grand Teton National Park about 2 weeks ago. The herd of Bison was descending a ridge on which there was fall color. I spotted this bull enjoying a scratch on a log. Cropped to landscape from picture taken in portrait orientation. Comments always appreciated.

I like this. It's different. I just returned from Yellowstone, and believe me, I know how difficult it is to capture a bison doing something interested instead of sleeping, standing still or walking slowly. I like the splash of color also. It would have been nice if he had cooperated and turned his head a bit more to the camera, but you take what is offered. Good capture.
