Lamar Valley Bison

This guy walked by very close. This is full frame. I liked the detail and the trash in his coat. I also got a good look at his eye, which is always tough on bison.

Comments and critiques welcome.

Selected the wrong image for the larger file. Not sure how to fix that.

Jerry, just post the proper larger image again, it will replace the duck. I like what you have done here, good detail and isolation of the bison from the background. Only suggestion would be to consider positioning the bison a bit further into the frame to show a little more of the neck, personal preference of course.

Nice portrait. I too like the catch light in the eye of the bison. I have a very hard time getting the dark eye of a bison to stand out from the dark fir.

As presented, he certainly takes on a different appearance in the larger view!
Good bison portrait!
