Clemenome

Sony A77
Minolta 200mm macro
ISO 400, 1/30 @ f16

This clematis center reminded me of a sea anemone, thus the funky title. Heading to the Oregon Coast Saturday so perhaps I'll spot some anemones that look like clematis. All comments welcome.>=))>

OK, I get the title now. (sorry I'm a bit slow sometimes) Love all the detail in the center and the softer colored petals cradling it. Hope you'll post any 'anematis' you find on the coast.

You're at it again with these titles, Bill !!! Marvellous image - superb sharpness in the centre, a delightful play of light and shade, and a composition that brings order out of chaos.

Bill - Great Caption. We have similar Clematises growing here in WI but they did not this year. Have a great time in Oregon !.

Not familiar with this variety, Bill. Yes, I see the anemone resemblance. Have fun shootin on the coast. Been awhile since we had seaweed images on the flora gallery.

Love the plane of focus control Bill and the subtle gradations in color. Not a bad composition either. (smile)
