Tuckerman's Ravine Trail at Crystal Cascades, Mt. Washington, New Hampshire

It was fun watching the leaves swirl and collect in these two major clumps. At some point, I am sure the leaf clumps would reach critical mass and be dispersed by the swift current.

For some reason, I am drawn to this place. A place I have visited many times in my youth, a place I visited when my youngest son climbed Mt. Washington in February a few years back as well as when he applied for his first job on the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) Trail Crew something he has now done for the past two summers.

This is also the exact location where I photographed Cauldron

Thanks for looking and in advance for any comments.

Very interesting and appealing intimate which puts the viewer right there at that bubbling stream. Might look at brightening those leaves on the left for balance.

This is a neat abstract. The water movement is great and the leaves make wonderful points of interest as my eyes move through the frame. I like it as is but think a vertical crop might also be nice as the left side is not as strong visually as the right.

Beautiful chaos Eva. Holds my eye while I try to see it all in either or both versions.

What a great image Eva, I like that you can just roam around the image trying to find and identify all the things in the water. It has a really nice palette of color as well. Nicely Done! :toast:

I am liking the third one the best. The strong whitewater in the first two are drawing my eye out of the image. I like the comp better too. Nicely done.
