My daughter laughing at a cicada accidentally entered inside the house resting on the door screen. Cicadas live in 17-year cycles having 2013 be the 17th year the adults come out.

Nikon D7000, 18-200mm Nikkor, C-PL filter, handheld.

Thank you for your comments,

Fits the theme well Andrey. Great moment that will bring back memories for years to come. Thanks for posting it.

How cute. This is great and well taken. I really like the texture of the screen over the cicada and your daughter.

Your daughter sure was having fun viewing this cicada! Gave you some good photo opportunities too.

Although I like the story-telling qualities of your other image better, this one is a great capture showing your daughters' joy at watching this cicada. I think the bright background on the right is a tiny bit distracting. Could be cropped in or maybe just darkened some.
