Evil-looking Creature

This moth was hanging upside down, but I inverted it in PP, as the inversion makes the moth look more menacing.

I have shots with the whole moth, but liked this crop as it makes it a little harder to figure out what kind of beastie the viewer is looking at. That is my intent, anyway.

Nikon D300; 150 macro; f20 @1/100th; ISO 400; HH; approx. 70% FF; no flash used.

All comments and suggestions most welcome.

Wow, that is a face only its mother could love. Looks more like a bat than a moth. The spider webs on the stem add to the illusion that this is a creepy bat. Excellent portrait of this striking moth, Tom!

A wonderfully sharp portrait, Tom. Not easy to do.
