Maybe it should have gone to the avian gallery but I thought that it fits better here cause its not really about the vultures. Does a dead dolphin count as wildlife? Anyway, for me, its about the sinister beauty of nature. I guess its not your usual scene from the tropical beaches of Costa Rica.

Your input is very welcome!

Fascinating shot Andrius, not sure why there are no comments on it. The dolphins mouth being open and the two vultures facing one another make it for me. My only suggestion would be a tighter crop on the birds and dolphin eliminating the sky and shoreline, and brightening the foreground. I hate to suggest such a big crop, but I think it would be better. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with Thomas, this is fascinating. I like your composition as is, but the there are a couple of rocks at the bottom of the frame that are cut by the edge that have a detrimental effect. Not a huge deal of course, but the devil is in the details right. Super easy to fix if one is inclined. I do feel this photo works in the Wildlife gallery, but would be just as welcome in Avian.

Good point Thomas, not sure why the lack of comments. Folks are preferring to sit on their hands.

This is an interesting find. I'm curious as to what coast this was on (reminds me a little of Corcovado).

I like the choice to go monochrome. Composition-wise, I'm not sure if I like the centered subject, but I do like the line of trees fading into the mist in the background, so I wouldn't want to lose that with a re-crop.

I feel the lines of the comp work well. Interesting posting...and it is possible in wildlife, but somehow feels like a commentary, perhaps in environmental photo journalism?
