A honey bee on verbena - I liked the way the bee had tucked itself into the flower. ( did think of making a pun out of tucking in for a title, then thought better of it !! )

Canon 7D, Tamron 55-200mm lens @ 200mm, 1/500 sec @ f8, - 1/67ev, ISO 800, hh.

Ian, this has nice details, but also a wonderful soft feeling, thanks partly to the edges of the flower head fading out of focus, and partly to the softness and direction of the light, and the lovely glowing effect of the background lighting and back-lit highlights. It all came together beautifully.

Very attractive, Ian. All of your "drinking deep" images have been super. Obviously, this one is similar to #1, but I think this one has nicer tones, and the flowers in front are a bit sharper, I think. However, I like the way the bee appeared to be holding the flower in #1. Hard to choose between the two.
