Hiking Trail

Hiking trail leading through the forest and ultimately up to a mountain pass in southern Switzerland. I was attracted to this scene by the combination of mosses and ferns in the foreground and the trees in the background.

Nikon D90, 16-85 AF-S DX VR, handheld.

The greens are lovely and the trail sure invites me to go exploring.

I love to walk on these kinds of trails. It looks very inviting! Very nice comp in this with the rugged stone steps leading up through the image to the trees in the background. My one thought would be to darken the trail and vegetation of this image a bit to give it more of a wooded feel, but leaving the background trees lighter.
