Right under my nose

Well this shot was taken today at a local pond, I waited for the bird to fly off its perch and fish. The GRBH flew off to a side and then made its way under a bridge. I had a field day taking shots. A larger selection of these shots are on my site. Anyway all shots were edited and cropped with Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom to make the composition.

It took me a few moments for my mind to process this one and understand this rather abstract image. This is a very unique and beautiful photo with great perspective. Great timing to catch the stab and parting of the water. I do wish that you could have included a bit more of the head, but other than that a real winner John! :toast:

I am with Gary, it took me a while to figure out what was going on here. This is an excellent and unique image and perspective John. I would encourage you to comment on other photographers work as well, I think you will find critiquing others work helps improve your own photographic vision and the comments and critiques are what keeps this site going. :toast:

An unusual and very cool angle, John. I love the splashing water and the eddies formed by the head. Well done.

John, you have been posting a lot of nice photos lately, but please remember that the recommended NPN guideline is to make 5 comments for every image that you post. There will only be enough comments to go around if people follow this guideline. You've got a lot of catching up to do

This is a super cool photograph John  I like the abstract feel and how it makes you want to figure out what is going on in this image.
