Pika

On a trail in Logan Pass in Glacier Nat. Park the Pika were working hard to prepare for winter. To the backside of this little guy was his den. He would go get some vegetation and store it in his den, then come out and stand on the rock he is stepping towards and pose for a moment, then go about his business again. It is always fun to watch Pika as they work. Thanks for you comments and critiques.

Great photo of one of my favorites. Sharp detail and Pika. I wasn't there so can only speculate to possible slight over saturation, but nevertheless, a fine photo.

Interesting posehere Richard as it is about to jump across to the other rock. The detail is great and the colourful rocks add a lot to the image. I would crop a bit tighter to eliminate the OOF vegatation in the FG coming in from the bottom. Ideally a bit more OOF BG would have perfected this as well.

Don't see too many Pika action shots, but here's one! I also think I would crop this a little bit tighter, but wouldn't want to loose too much of the very nice red textured rock on the left.
