Wonderful layered image, Rick. Love the shades of blue from dark at the bottom to light at the top. Also love how it goes from more clear focus in the front to just a soft whisper of a mountain range in the back. And, of course, the pano orientation works so well to showcase all these beautiful layers. Very nicely done! :toast:

I love how the tree line is visible, The darker blues to light is great. Is this smoke or haze either way it help set the mood. Great capture

There are 7 layers of mountain ranges in this capture. The furthest being Mt. Bailey some 30 miles from Crater Lake. No smoke, just atmospherics..

Reminds me of Chinese paintings - very lovely image, Rick. Like how all the flat layers produce a sense of depth.

Have seen this marvelous layering many times when in Oregon. I believe it is the very frequent haze, not smoke.
