Taken a few years back when I was experimenting with long exposures. The was probably in the Sierras, where I encounter most of the streams that I photograph.

Canon Rebel, xTi, ISO 100, 180 mm, f/22, 1/4 sec., tripod.

This is very well done. Close-ups of moving water make some wonderful patterns and this illustrates that very well. The hints of orange (sunlight I presume) are a great addition.

Great water abstract, Kathy. . .and also great for the challenge! Love the smooth look of the water going over the rocks and how it contrasts with the bubbly texture at the bottom of the rapids. Lots of nice shadings of blue in this too. Very lovely.

I am glad that I clicked on this one. It is subtle and graceful in so many ways. I like those light Sierran rocks and the warm reflection. Excellent image.
