Lazy Days

Summer shrinks the flow in my high mountain streams to bare trickles but I still found something for my Headwaters Collection. A bit different from my usual fare for this series, as it lacks some of the energy of the spring time shots but "different" is my theme this year so I thought I'd run it by you. Comments would be most welcome. Thanks for looking

Nice abstract Nancy Lea but I think I would go for a square crop eliminating the top portion.

Nancy Lea, This is a nice abstract with some very nice color and interesting texture. Perfect title! I like the flowing and lazy feel the long grass seems to give this.

This is really neat! I like it cropped as presented. The graceful arc of the long grass is so strong compositionally, and the ripples radiating outward looks great. My only suggestion would be to clone all the extraneous bits of grass in the top of the scene out. Well done - something new and fresh.

Nice!! I totallyagree with Eva--the bottom leaf is super cool so you want it to play a bigger role--top crop accomplishes that. :toast:
