Another red flower, love the color and the shape. I am drawn to them in the garden. C&C welcomed.

Excellent color and use of light. The dof works very well, too. Beautiful image!

Such a stunning and beautiful flower! Love the rich red color and the interesting design of this flower. Nice comp but my thoughts would be to crop in some from the top and left to get rid of some of the empty space and give more attention to the flower.

Superbly photographed, Elizabeth ! Wonderful contrasty lighting and an excellent composition in my view - I personally like to see space around a flower such as this. Would reduce the scale of the signature though !

I use LR and I've tried so many signatures. I will look into that, does anyone know of a program to make nice signatures? It made me laugh, someone else told me once "nice photo, but the signature is in the way, get rid of it"

With the environment you captured Elizabeth, this is over the top exceptional in my opinion. Superb work and vision.

Elizabeth : if you use a Mac there is Border FX - a plug in which works with Aperture ( they are at http://www.iborderfx.com ) I don't bother with the copyright function myself but I can see that you can select varied fonts and font sizes quite easily. The programme, of course, mainly does borders.

Don't think they produce anything for Windows but there must be something similar for that platform. I would Google photograpic borders and you might come across something.

Elizabeth: Even though hibiscus is a common subject I often find it difficult to come up with a pleasing comp encompassing all the flower. This works for me really well. Love the dynamics of the BG and the lighting on the bloom. Very well done.>=))>
