Pretty in Pink

Found this in my backyard close to a bird feeder. I am not sure what it is, something in the milkweed family I think. To me is was a pretty bloom in front of the wood fence, and needed to be photographed. Any help on the ID would be appreciated.

Lovely cluster of blossoms. Well framed and a good choice of POF.

I think I might have a less blending BG John. As I love the detail you captured in the subject, it blends too much with this BG. This might just be me.

Very nice, John. I like the selective dof and the nice bg. Only thing I'd suggest is a pinch more room on the right. You could easily clone blossom which touches the right edge. :toast:

A very lovely softness to this one. Wonderful color and the dof works great for me. :toast:

A splendid wedding bouchet. Slective focus and the color are splendid.

I love the blending of sharp detail and soft focus in this image. I think the soft pink makes a great background for the more sharply focused pink flower in front. Certainly is a beautiful and delicate looking flower! My one wish is that there was more room on the right so the flower wasn't touching the edge. Otherwise, nice comp.
