This is an image of a large buck that lives in the Fort Worth Nature Reserve. I have posted other images of this buck. He hangs out in thick brush, so it is difficult to get a clear shot of him. This was from last year. Comments and critiques welcome.

Wow, Jerry what a nice buck. I like the thick brush, its color is perfect and tells us the kind of habitat he reins in. It is a bit unfortunate that a very oof branch seems to cutting across the eye. If you have more room at the bottom would add a bit there, just feels like a bit more of the bucks chest should be there (my opinion only of course). Nice deer photo!!!

Nice strong colors, and what a rack! Tricky environment to shoot in with all the branches. Would like to see a portrait orientation to get more of the body as Gary suggests as the body has some great coloring to it.

Understand how hard it can be to get some of these big bucks out in the open Jerry. It is a busy BG, but I;m okay with it here. My only real nit is the blurred twig going across the eye. To me, that is the part which is more distracting then the branches.

The heavy lines of some of the brush behind him compete with the antlers...but what a buck! I would experiment with brightening just the deer to lift him a little more from the background.

Nice rack but it seems to get lost in the busy background. You are lucky to have him as a visitor.
