This female Mule Deer was swatting the flies with her ears as she ambled by. It was amazing to watch her walk by,flapping the flies off her head and not bothered by my presence. State Park outside of Ashland, Oregon.

Sony a 900
70-400 mm Sony zoom @ 210 mm
f5.6 @ 1/200 sec
ISO 500

She seems placidly content with your presence. I appreciate that in your choosing to zoom pretty close, you left some space between the end of the green grass stem and the edge of the frame.

The buzzing flies really show up in the large version Rick and tell a good story. I also like the decision to leave the grass in the frame without cutting it off.
