This fits my mood right now perfectly, Eva. Dark and stormy. An evocative image.

After posting, I noticed there was a bit too much cyan and a little too dark. This one should be a little better.

Pretty amazing differences between the two posts. After jumping back and forth a bit, I think that the darkness in the original post actually helps convey a stormy mood....maybe something in between in terms of the brightness. I do like the better clarity in the surf in the repost.

For conveying a mood I like the first post better. I like the layering of your composition as well. Nice job. Chet

The original post is far, far better than the repost, in my opinion. The dark, stormy mood is great. Well done!

I actually like the mood in the original version better, Eva. More dark and foreboding IMO.

Cool surf scene, Eva! I think it would make a great B&W.

Eva, Pretty cool. For me the original post captures the mood much better.

I like the repost better than the original. Better clarity yet still conveys the mood for me. I like the way you've captured the breaking wave in your comp.
