Crest Lake+ Repost

Out of town working lately so had a chance for a couple of quick trips to Strathcona Park in the central island area. Spotted this very shallow lake with nice bottom growth and had to stop. Not sure about the comp and would appreciate any comments.

Nice! Great job working the midday light and coming away with a dynamic shot. I do feel the greens are a bit oversaturated? Maybe just me... Thanks for the large version!!

I like this image a lot, and the comp keeps me busy looking all around. The clumps of grass anchor it nicely and the quality of detail in the trees, plus the clouds, all just add up to one lovely, interesting photo. Gorgeous!

Lots to enjoy throughout this scene from the FG grasses to the trees and those lovely puffy white clouds. The only thing I noticed was a couple of dust spots in the large version. Beautifully done, Bill.

Wonderful mix of elements and all work nicely together. You could probably back the greens off a little and still have a vibrant and eye-catching image. I really enjoy the sense of movement in the clouds
