Gorgeous Matt. Love the shadows and the color shift from gold to magenta in the BG.

Awesome shot Matt. The strong contrast of light and shadow is very nice and creates a real sense of mystery. The color contrast with the bg is also excellent.

The long shadows and sweet light along with a great comp make this a great capture. The mountains in bg and the contrasting color work very well. :toast:

The beautiful sand dunes are enough by themselves, but the awesome magenta colored mountains behind just put this over the top. The contrasty side lighting is as good as it gets. Well crafted image.

This is really nice Matt. I love the contrast between the sand dunes and the hills in the BG. The shadows on the dunes bring them to life and the bush placed off center really makes an interesting point. Well done.

Sick light! I'm a little on the fence about the magenta mountains in the background - I like em but somehow think a bluer tone would be more complementary. Just my thoughts.

Gorgeous! Awesome light. What time of day is this? I'm guessing late afternoon judging by the direction you're facing. Love the little bits of blowing sand off the tips.

If I were to nitpick, it would be the color of the BG mountains. Maybe just a tad too abstract, but a lot of my photos are a tad too abstract, so who am I to talk.

Beautiful image. My first thought upon opening was about the magenta cast of the background. To my eye, it clashes with the beautiful color and tones of the dunes. Otherwise, a real beauty.

Your pano format works exceptionally well on this one. Just a great progression of light and shadow and subjects. Outstanding work with the comp. The contrasts of color and of light also work brilliantly. Artistic liberty-definitely. Allowed-most definitely. :toast:

This is gorgeous! Some incredible light, and a fantastic comp...

It almost hurts me to even mention/nitpick this, but there seem to be a few halos (dodging, maybe?) around each bush. Maybe it's just the great light! Quite amazing, keep it up!
