I happened to come across, some very warm, affectionate and friendly elephants, but they wanted to hug me  ...... and I had to run for cover.
Canon 7D; 70-200mm; ISO400;1/500 sec. at F 4.5
Thank you so much for your kind attention & views!
Jagdeep Rajput
PS. Sorry friend, it was a 70-200mm lens at 70mm.

Excellent capture of the action! Great comp. I like the dust around the elephants because it adds to the feeling of motion.

Jagdeep, That's a terrific shot. I think I would be running for cover too.
You've really captured the sense of action wonderfully, although with a 500mm lens they were not quite close enough to hug - yet. :toast:

Quite the action here, Jagdeep. The dust cloud really helps convey the story. Having been caught up in a couple of these situations, I know it can be a bit unsettling. Nice job getting the shot.

Great sense of motion and urgency with all the dust flying, they appear to be leaning into the turn. A moment I'm sure you'll remember. Well done Jagdeep.

Hello Jagdeep

Dust flying makes a great action packed image! They appear to leaning into the corner as they speed towards you!
I bet with being so close their noise was powerful too?

Thanks

Bill

Jagdeep, I really enjoy viewing your images - please do not get trampled! How you maintained enough composure under the situation to get such a well composed and sharp image is beyond me. Really terrific. :toast:

I have also been chased by Elephants and I don't think they were so friendly. You did well to capture such a photo while running in reverse. :toast:
