BE Flight

This is one of the first-ever eagles nesting in my home county in PA. Speaking of first-ever, I did a lot of experimenting in PSE with layers as suggested. There were some remnants of the spaces between the feathers that got included and were lighter, and I had to get help in cleaning that up. I think it has turned out a decent flight shot. D90, ISO-400, 1/1000th, f-8.0, 500mm, hh. Thanks for your C&C here.

Nice light, Bill. It looks like you did a pretty good job cleaning it up.

Hmmm, after a last-minute bit of sharpening, the larger version on here looks a bit overdone. ?? Looked a tad soft on my monitor prior. Thanks Dennis, an improvement for sure I'd say.

This is a nice flight shot and the lighting is good. You already commented that the larger version is a bit noisy. The eye does look just a tad soft in the large version also.

I agree on the slight softness of the eye Bill, still a very decent shot. :toast:

A decent flight shot for sure! Larger image does have some soft spots as noted already. Not enough IMHO to hurt the image. Thanks for sharing.
