This is a Juvenile hence it is not White.
So named because it was thought that it ate only nuts from Palm Trees, but like any self respecting vulture it eats anything and everything

Wow; Hand-held from an open vehicle at 500mm and f/5.6 you did an amazing job of nailing the focus.

This has to be one of the most handsome vultures I've ever seen. :toast:

Cool-looking bird. There seems to be a post-processing halo around the bird. If this is from darkening the sky I think it would be interesting to go the other way and try a high key version and let the sky go white and lose the halo.

Cool bird! And nice detail in those browns. I agree with John that there is a distinct halo around the bird (clearer n the large version), easily repaired with new post-processing.

A very nice looking Vulture, Ken. Looks like there's a bit of a bright line around the bird-something I often run into when shooting against the sky-not sure what the phenomenon is. I know some people have found sneaky ways to easily get rid of it. I usually end up doing it the tedious way.

Thanks everybody, I am useless when it comes to halos, this is so obvious I really should have noticed it
