Howdie, been awhile. I was debating on what to post from this "new-to-me" stream that was running hot awhile back. The sky was white, was going to post an overall view first, but ehhhh... decided to go with this midsection shot from earlier Spring. Larger is posted, your C&C always welcomed. EDIT: Looks flat.

Cascades of silver! This is really beautiful. There's a bright rock in the urc that's a bit distracting but otherwise, very lovely

While I'm still on here, thanks Sandy--and nice catch!!! That bothered me, but didn't want to crop down any further. In retrospect, I probably should have just cropped that whole second level. IDK, thanks again.

Love your selected exposure for the water Bill. Very delicate and ethereal. I do agree with a slight crop from the top but good work none the less.

I'll agree with the crop, but that is not a deal breaker for me Bill. Sweet image.

Good exposure and color but the top just leave my eye wanting more

Bill,

I like the natural framing here, keeping the eye inside the frame and the silver falls. Can't say I would suggest cropping the top would be an improvement because the resulting format has an uneasy balance to it. You might consider some cloning of that bright rock(or whatever) in the upper right - I think that would go a long way. Still, a pleasant and lovely scene.

Doesn't look flat to me. The greens are lovely and frame the falls well. The silvery feeling of the water and dark rocks is great as well. I like all the details in the rocks and the softness of the water flow. Looks like a tough choice to crop that bright rock out or to burn it in. I like the crinkly edge along the top of the rock on the top left rock and when I scroll up to crop from the top it starts to feel unbalanced. Nice job of "eastern forest" photography.

Nice shot Bill. Very hard to get a sense of scale to me.
