Ghost on the Wind

A sunrise rain squall moved across a scenic Patagonian background at just the right time. While not my primary target that morning, it turned out to be the most interesting shot of the day.

Interesting indeed Harry. I like the diagonals the squall creates, and that soft lavender light. Nice capture.

Harry, a very colorful capture with a wonderful backdrop overall. One of the best virga or squall type images I've seen. A very fine example of this phenomenon.

Beautiful, Harry. Great earth tones with the pastels and grays of the sky.

Perfect. Nice layers and colors. Some beautiful virga, and great, soft light to make this a pleasant scene. I like the separation between the clouds and land...

Nice, very nice, Harry. The colors in the sky are simply gorgeous as are the earth tones of the land. What really makes the image for me though is the rain squall.

The sky and peaks are outstanding, foregroun is pretty blah, however not spotting anything in the frame to give the foreground more interest

The sky color and the sweeping slate-blue rain against it is appealing.
