Whispering Falls
by Chris Moore
Last week I had the pleasure of exploring some of the lesser known falls of the Columbia Gorge with Mark Metternich. One particular day we set out at 3am by headlamp, did some serious bushwhacking and scrambling, returning at 6pm for a cold beer. This was one of the gems we found. Nothing too special here as far as the Gorge goes, but not something you see shots of very much. Two exposures for dynamic range, Nikon D800E, 14-24 at 14mm with polarizer. Thanks for looking, and any thoughts always appreciated.

A beautiful and dreamy image. Yeah, a larger version would have been great, the compression of this standard view takes a little away.
Not sure what is on the broad-leafed plant in the LLC - is it water? In any event, if it were mine I would selectively desaturate the cyan just on that plant. Otherwise, the colors look beautiful throughout. Nice work!
