That is breathtaking Eva. I love the rocks under the water in the FG and the comp with the rocks angled leading your eyes to the mountains in the BG. Wonderful!

This is classical ...in that its 'feel' is genuine and raw. Not overprocessed...film-like... and makes me want to see it on the wall. Or to walk up and touch the water. Beautiful! No nits.

I love that glimpse into that tidal pool. Beautiful scenery and your capture gives true justice to it.

Spectacular. The diagonal definitely works to draw the eye back to those amazing mountains. What is so extraordinary to me is how you have brought out the beautiful underwater garden in the foreground and yet retained the shimmering luminosity on the water's surface. More than spectacular.

Exquisite light and tone on the image Eva. I love the comp as well, the tidal pool in the foreground works really well. You certainly had a successful workshop!

An outstanding composition for me, Eva. Your presentation of the subsurface elements in the foreground is exceptionally beautiful to my eye.

A great looking photo of this pristine environment, Eva. Seeing a scene such as this one has got to respect how fragile our planet really is and how it must be protected wherever possible.
The Velvia has helped produce those very pleasing colors that are hard to beat IMO. The composition with the FG viewable bottom water area is a tremendous plus from this site you've chosen to capture too. Excellent...... :toast:

Wow, this is gorgeous. I love the foreground, looking into the water, not to mention everything else in the image. Excellent.

I have really liked and enjoyed all of your posts from this trip so far. Sorry to have missed acknowledging them until now!

The peaks are quite impressive here. Almost like islands of mountains! Nice dusting of snow too.

Didi and I were talking about trips(Iceland vs. Norway) I was for Iceland and he was for Norway. I'd say from your posts, Norway would be a fantastic trip and experience.

Great image with great composition and colour. One small detail: personnaly I would make the sky a little bit darker(or add a little bit of vignette) to make the picture even more dramatic. I have been in Northern Norway very often and you have caught the atmosphere (late spring?) very well.

The inviting detail in the clear water of the foreground against more rugged mountains in the distance give this image a pleasantly schizophrenic quality.

I would take the sky down 1/2 stop so that it doesn't distract from that fantastic foreground.

Hi Eva, let me first say that I must apologize for my belated responses to your postings over the past month and that I hope my response here should suffice in bulk for what I have missed commenting on previously. I have very, very much enjoyed your work from Norway. In fact, I really think it is your best I have seen. This is all particularly special to me because I have long been planning a visit to Norway myself this year and your images bring this coastal region to life better than any I can recall. The peaks and ocean combine for an environment of beauty and impressive scale the like of which I'm sure is found very few other places. Looks like Ian got you guys there at a great time of year too, and reminded everyone once again there is still some fun to be had shooting film  The light and soft pastels are wonderful in this rendition. Look forward to seeing more as always!

First off, thanks everyone. This was yet another of my favorite beaches on the trip. I just love dramatic beaches like this.

Hi Marc - No apologizes necessary. Many thanks for your comment and for having a look in the first place. Yes, Ian did get us to spectacular places at the right time. Those mountains just shoot right out of the sea (3000 - 4000 ft). Though not as high as the ones out in the western US or Canadian Rockies or even New Hampshire for that matter. They look like a challenge to climb due to the degree of incline (at least for me). We were there at the end of April beginning of May and avalanches were still occurring on the mountains.

....and yes I am having a lot of fun with my return to film.... but that is where I started..... but I still do digital too.
