Just amazing! Reading your post entry set me off on a internet search to figure out how you accomplished this. Do you mind sharing which laser trigger you used?

Another nice species found and a very good photo to show it! It's a pity I did not have time to try this with you - something to look forward to next time!

Egads Charlie, "Same bat time, same bat channel"? The bat computer is none too frisky today but this is looking so good it is short circuiting my bat brain. "It's sometimes difficult to think when you are strapped to a printing press", but Holy rusted metal Batman I would say you nailed this one.

A dramatic shot Charlie, I assume that this is a spot you've visited before and knew where to set up your flashes. The bat shows up beautifully against the background and the spread wings are super.

Thanks all! Martin, this was the first time that I had photographed at this spot. It is a very isolated pool in the middle of the desert and I had observed the Bats there the week before. If you plan to try this you will need to find such a place. I will be going back soon and should do better next time once I've made a few adjustments.

I really can't say enough about how good your bat photos are. I was just thinking the other day about your photos last year and hoping you'd be doing it again this year. You really have this process down pat. Looking forward to more.

Great catch! The whole bat is sharp and the angled pose in the frame works great. I also like the flying water drops.

Wow, Charlie! Cool set-up. Don't think that would work as well here-we have way too much water.

Good luck! I am using the Nero Trigger and also one home made trigger. Either will work.
Certainly a lot of work and missed shots!
