Montauk point sunrise 2

This shot is from last fall at Montauk point, Long Island.
It was mostly cloudy, at sun rise but eventuslly the sun peeked
out for this shot.

Nice work with the water exposure and composition here. The sky feels a little too magenta on my screen, and I would suggest blowing out the sun more, as the all-yellow appearance doesn't strike the eye as particularly natural (it is the sun, afterall). Lastly, I would suggest opening up more shadow details on the horizon to increase depth, transition and visual flow towards the light.

Gerald, a nice contrast between the sun lit back drop and the much softer colored wave action here. Nicely captured scene.

Looks like a wonderful scene. Interestingly, that while overall the colors seem too saturated, I'm most bothered by the strong cyan in the foreground surf.
