An Evening in Spring

Just an impression of early spring in the Danube Floodplains, Lower Austria. We had snow until the end of March, so it is time to enjoy the delicate colors now. I took this image on a quiet evening last week.

Nice abstract, Peter. If anything had to change, I might try to bring out the bottom trunks a bit more as I do wish the whites had continued down there. Or maybe a crop off the bottom just a little. The top is busy but still works for me, as I appreciate the fine details and soft light.

Love how the flowers appear to be literally suspended in a sea of green and you can't beat the wonderful subtle light on the tree trunks. Stunning image, Peter, that sings of spring in so many ways.

Beautiful impression. I think I might lighten the lower trunks a bit as well.

The subtle light and details really shine in this woodland scene, Peter. This speaks of springtime perfectly. This is being super picky, but what do you think of brightening the bottom of the image just a touch? Beautifully done either way.
