Lupine morning

I got out early to see the fields of lupine and Valley oaks, but then I wanted to catch the gorgeous light and shoot into the sun to get the shadow of the tree. I'm not sure if this captures it and so will be interested in your comments and critiques.

Canon 5d, Mk3, IS0100, f/22, 68mm on a 24-105 lens.

Thanks in advance.

I wasn't sure about the image when I first looked, but I looked at the large image for a while and I like the mood you captured here. This is not an in your face scenic like the mountains or ocean, but it has a very peaceful early morning feeling to it. Nice capture.

Beautiful scene Kathy, you captured some great light filtered through the trees. Very nice composition and you handled the mottled light very well. Really nice work!

Very pretty scene Kathy. Wonderful filtered light that you handled well. To me I wonder if you darkened the highlights a bit to bring the brightness down a bit. Just a thought. Beautifully done otherwise.

I like this a lot. Very beautiful work. It has this "impressionism" tag to it which I enjoy very much.
