I really like this capture John, you caught the mood of the weather and of the bird. BG is great and bird very sharp as well as its perch. :toast:

Really like the ambiance the snow to this image, Jane. The orange breast really makes the robin pop against the snow and background. I see some noise in the background. Should be easy to fix that.

The angle of the head and the angle of the snowflakes work together well. It tells a story (and not just one of a warm photographer behind a window  .

John, love this! The snow streaks and bits of snow on the beak are excellent.
You have a tiny bit of catchlight in the eye - a levels and/or brightness/contrast adjustment would bring it out a bit more.
Cheers!

Wonderful shot from a window as I would of never guessed that. I really like the overall composition with the blowing snow, perch and head turn, well done.

I love the energy of the environment contrasted with this apparently very solid little bird!
