Exciting for me

This is the first time I have seen the cedar waxwing and I was late to a meeting as I shot these outside my work place. In my excitment I forgot all about composition and framed every shot facing me instead of from behind with a turned head so that I could capture the awesome colors of these birds. C&C appreciated.

It is a beautiful bird, and the environment is great. The picture is sharp and well exposed. I would suggest a vertical crop if possible as th right side of the photo is somewhat distracting to me. It is a question of taste. All in all a nice capture in complicated circumstances. :toast:

Nice image, Joel. A bit more head turn might have been nice, but I still like this and you got excellent detail in the plumage-difficult to show in this species. Wonderful setting.

Joel the pose is fine for me and it's nice to see the bird on blossom it looks a little dark on my monitor but I would be very pleased with your end result. :wavey:
