Near New Port Richey, Florida

1/4000 at f8 and ISO400 EC -2
Canon 500mm
Canon 7D

Shot in the evening in AV mode -- was surprised to see the SS jump to 4000. Mama had just landed and the young egrets were getting ready for a feeding

I really like the comp on this Scott. I just love how ugly these little fellas are. So ugly, they're cute.

Love the shot! On my screen it almost looks like an oil painting.

Lovely symmetry Scott. Beautifully exposed and standing out perfectly against the background. Did you experiment with a slightly less tight crop? It might look good to have a bit of space to the left, in the direction they are looking.

Nice! I would have guessed there was an adult just out of the frame to cause their identical positions.

One of the better nest shots - not as cluttered as they typically are.
