This Anhinga had no desire to move from its boardwalk perch at Green Cay wetlands as the sun broke over the horizon.

-1.67 EC (this was a carryover from a previous shot - but the camera metered properly to overcome my mistake)

Nice composition and detail. The under exposure has cost a little in shadow detail on the breast IMO.

Really nice portrait. You've lot a lot of deail in the blacks; a program like Viveza woule help reclaim them. I'd also brighten up the great eye on these fellows.
