Canon 5D Mark II. F13, 1/25. This is one angle on these dramatic massive rocks on the California coast. The first time I saw them a movie was being shot. Strong location.
#2 to come next. Comments appreciated.

Hmm, really does look like a face. Nice contrast between the rocks and foliage. Very textural.

Cool find Lucy. Like the textture and detail in the rocks. Did you get any more with the rock more isolated? Nice.

Interesting POV here, Lucy. I might try a crop in slightly from the right forcing more of the viewing intent towards the actual rock face here. Lighting looks good overall, as well as the colors too. Larger version could also help with reviewing the image.

Thanks for the comments. I'll try a right crop, though I wanted to include the feel of the "group" and suggest scale. Wish I could post larger versions, using 1200 max and 500 kb and "save for web." Every time I try I get an error message. I did communicate with the administrator but I'm still having a problem. Ohb well....
I'll post another angle soon and will be interested on the comparison. Really appreciate the feedback.
