I like the sun star behind the trees and the backlight scene, but there is something strange going on with your file. It looks like you sized it down to a very small size, then resized it larger again. The result is a nice sized file, but with very low resolution. Your signature is very high res though. You might want to re-evaluate the process you used to generate this file, and see if at any point your software sized it down to a small size, then back up again. It's very difficult to judge the overall sharpness and other technical merits of the image based on the presentation as it is right now.

I like this a lot Rick. The overall comp with its sun-star, and long shadowed bottom work very well.
Not sure how you arrived at the larger version (large crop?), but I might re-evaluate my work flow/output for web procedure.

Like Ben, I was wondering what caused the softness. I initially thought it was out of focus. Please repost this.
