These flowers bloom once a year if I'm right and it's taken me 2 years to find this spot. I got here a bit late as some of the flowers were starting to fade away, but I'm thrilled to have finally found this spot! I'm definitely visiting this spot again next year

Tech : Canon 5D Mark iii, Canon 17-40mm f/4L, f/22 ISO 100 4 exposures hand blended.

Beautiful! Yay for you for finding this location! I think the exposure work is right on and the comp is as well. I do wish the pier wasn't there but nothing you can do for that. Nice work!

PS What is that flower?

Thanks Chris! Appreciate it! Actually this is a very famous pier in San Diego. The pier is the reason I put this in the Man and Nature category.

As for the flowers, these are Aloe

Really good exposure and framing choices. Beautiful colors. I am kind of glad the pier is there and you incorporated it. I think it adds to the comp.
