Here's another shot from the same foggy pre-dawn canoe trip as my previous post. Even though quite muted, the fall colors on the shoreline add another dimension to this one.

Canon 5D2; Canon 24-105mm.
1/250 sec. @ f/6.3; ISO 1250
Hand-held from canoe

An addition to my "Gentle Spectacle" series of soft-color, low-contrast landscapes: Gentle Spectacle IX -- "Fellow Travelers"

I can hear the loons from this one Wayne. I love the mood and the composition here.

Ooh, can't wait for these guys to come back here! This is a gorgeous scene that could have been taken here. I do see a bit of a uneven horitzontal line going down on the left. But after that, VERY nice Wayne!

I like seeing just a bit of the fall colors as well as the two loons. I like this version better than your earlier post because of the hints of color and the inviting mystery of what's around the point. Very nice!

Another great foggy-lake-with-loons image, Wayne. I think I like the comp better in this one--it feels a bit more balanced to me. I also like the way the two loons are facing each other and the added touches of subtle color. Very peaceful scene. Nice job!
