Nice sharpness of focus throughout; from the dried plant stems in the foreground out to infinity. I assume you used a focal length at the wide angle end of your lens to get this hyperfocal distance. There are a lot of leading lines on the right in the luminous clouds and their reflection with the dark hill sandwiched in between; but I think there are also enough on the left; in the horizon and in the rocks and plants over on that side; to bring the eye to a point roughly at the upper left rule of thirds position on the horizon; to where that lighter peak is; and keep the composition feeling balanced.

The shallowness of the water is evident from the height of the rocks and plants rising above it, and its ephemeral nature indicated by the desiccated state of the foliage. Nice dynamic range and contrasts in form and texture. Great in B&W because that simplifies things.

In the larger version, one can almost feel like they are there.

Very nice b/w image Waleed. I really enjoy seeing your images from Saudi Arabia. How long does the water stick around here after it rains?

Excellent control of tones here. The complete Zone System in one image. It makes for a very engaging photograph.

Love the angle and sky. This is totally subjective, but the image seems a little overly busy and over-sharpened.
