I took this last fall, and the scene reminded me of a jailbreak scene from an old movie with all of it's chaos and the old black and white uniforms they wore.
C&C always welcome, and thanks for looking,
Morris

I love aspen photographs and this one .
Why are many of the trunks leaning right? Wind or slope ?
Well done Morris.

Thanks, guys.
Rick, I really don't have an explanation for why some aspen grow the way they do. My guess is wind, or erosion, or trying to reach the light??? This chaotic scene is along a slope beside Last Dollar road.

Shades of Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid! Love the "quakies", Morris. I suspect that the lean is a phototropic response brought about by the position on the slope and competition for sunlight.

Wow...that's really cool! I like your title too! There is a lot of order to the chaos here though!

I like all of those trunks leaning in different directions and how they contrast with the leaves in the background. This makes me grin....maybe from the sense that the trunks are dancing.

I like the DOF and the many different ways that the aspens lean Morris. Nice view of the BG behind.

Absolutely exquisite, Morris ! Would love to have seen this enlarged - the detail in the bg leaves provides such a wonderful backdrop for the trunks. This is, quite simply, a feast for the eyes.

Morris: What sets this apart for me is the BG. Great to have the frame filled with the leaves. Good vision, good photography. >=))>

Great capture! I have tried and failed many times to get something decent from aspens in the fall. The light values and color tones blend well to bring about your desired effect.
