Synchronicity

Just returned from this year's Japan workshop, one of my favorite trips. Haven't had time to process any of the images yet, but here's one from last year's tour.

Two endangered red-crowned cranes performing their graceful winter dance.

Greetings from Iceland,
Marsel

Stunning frame, very appealing!!! Happened to see this on 500px.
Very few birds can match the grace of Cranes.

PS. I'm just keen to know, if you applied gradient on the BG in processing or it was like this?

Thanks Jagdeep. Background was like this - the result of patchy clouds.

Absolutely gorgeous Marsel.
The colours, the pose, the symmetry - everything works so well.

This is a real beauty Marsel. First, the exposure between the snow and the blacks couldn't be any better. The action and behavior is terrific and it send the comp of the entire image over the top with the heart shape achieved by the necks. It really tells the entire story of this dance. I would say if any of your images form this years trip turn out like this one, you should get to processing quickly!
