While cruising around our slowly emerging garden yesterday I was struck by the very active gazanias and since I couldn't decide which stage of development I liked more I just went ahead and put them all together in a composite. All comments welcome. >=))>

Hi Bill, great concept and execution! Each one independently excels with details, dof, and light...I esp like the llc. Seeing these side by side is a treat. May have to try this as spring approaches. Inspiring!

Very nice images Bill. Well presented and I too can understand why it was difficult to pick just one. I like the detail, I find the backgrounds distracting though.

Well done, Bill. I like all four, and it's interesting to see the stages. Like Ken, my favorite is the llc because of the nice light.

Lovely idea, Bill ! Love the inclusion of the bud and the slightly straggly bloom - the lower two are just gorgeous. Especially like the colour tones - they blend perfectly across the whole image.

The llc is the winner, by a nose. the three others make a tie .

All i see here is great color light and detail. where's the perfumed odors?
