There is actually a fine layer of blowing snow moving across the surface perpendicular to the drift lines John.

Yup, this makes for a very nice abstract Eva, real nice exposure and detail on a tough subject. The snow we got is just about gone, time for spring.

A nice abstract for me, Eva. The lacking sense of scale makes it really interesting to me.

After seeing your comment Eva on the drifting snow it helps us understand the softness or lack of sharpness only in certain areas in the scene. It also adds to the sense of the overall abstract look and feel to the image.

Awesome, Eva. I think the sharpness is perfect, not sure about that comment. I like the blue shadows, I think they are natural and add a cool tone to the scene.

A very nice snow abstract, Eva. I like all the lines in this and the nice touch of blue in the snow. Knowing some snow is blowing across the surface helps make this even more enjoyable I think.

I love this, Eva, and the slight lack in definition because of the blowing snow sets this apart. You really have been hitting it out of the park with all your abstracts. This could work nicely in B+W well!

I like the lack of scale here and the diagonal lines of the ripples draw me into the scene rather nicely, Eva. Well done.

This doesn't look at all blurry to me...and actually it looks a lot like salt! It's really interesting how the lines formed like that...I am rarely around snow, but I am not sure that I have ever seen a formation like this...must have been due to the harsh winds!

A very nice diagonal flow from the lines in this one, Eva. Well done.
