The Minuet

Or one of those old fashioned dances is the impression I get, though in reality, they are just getting ready to take off. I missed the framing on this one, so I had to add a bit of canvas on the right. I also cropped top, bottom and left. The lines in the ice, shore line and hill in the bg all have slightly different slopes, so proper rotation was difficult to choose. I went pretty much with the shoreline.

7D, 300mm f4 ISL, (not sure if it was hand held or on ball head-I was doing both), f7.1, 1/1600, iso 320, manual mode. Final size after canvas addition and deletion is just shy of 11MP. Normal processing in CS5. Taken January 18th at 8:24 am.
