Too Cool Tide Pools

This was taken on Vancouver Island on Canada's West Coast. I saw the clouds prior to sunset and was set up in the spot when they started to light up. I chose this spot because I liked the way the rocks framed the picture and I thought the tide pool offered an incredible reflection and good lead.

Nice shot. Love the colour and exposure. The Jittery cloud movement does distract ....wish they were softer.

Thanks for looking. I pulled the image from my Flickr account and I think they use a sharpening algorithm when they scale images (or I was too heavy handed when I sharpened it for web). Here is the same scale of image pulled from my website. Does it look better?

Beautiful work! The comp fits the scene well, and I like the smooth rocks scattered across the image. I'm wondering if the reflection may be a bit bright, but perhaps it is the light sand beneath. Regardless, nice image. Really enjoying this...

Wow this is excellent! I think I like the sharpness in the first better, only because it is so small so it helps define everything a littel better. Awesome work!
