Nikon D300, 150mm, F/16, 1.6 sec, iso 200.

One of my favourites, a David Austin rose in a crystal vase. Comments appreciated.

Albert: Really good decisions on this one IMO. Just enough vase to be complementary without being overbearing and beautiful lighting. The subject isn't bad either. Many kudos. >=))>

Pretty rose....pretty lighting! I think I would like a tiny bit more space all around but your detail & DOF is excellent!

Beautifully presented, Albert. Beautiful subject and excellent lighting. I am with Eirini on a little more room all around.

A lovely rose. Good choice of f-stop, giving you just the right amount of DOF. It is a little cramped.

Beautiful image of a beautiful rose! Excellent lighting, detail, and DOF. I think this would be even better with a little more space at the bottom of the image.

Beautiful look at this rose. I like the crystal vase, the angle of the flower, and all of the details in the petals. I would like just a bit more space at the bottom.

Very nice closeup, especially when viewed large.
Excellent DOF and the black BG works great for this! :wavey:
