The colors here are very nice, however the image is too soft to appreciate the details. Especially in the large version.

Sharpened a bit. Can't repost in larger today. Any better?

It still looks about the same sharpness wise, in the repost you lost the nice colors and contrast from the original. It almost appears as if the image was out of focus slightly which would be difficult to bring much sharpness to it.

Rick,

Love the color and beautiful, warm light here. The sky is amazing and beautiful as well. Agree with Peter on the softness and yep, it's too bad we're unable to edit/repost the larger view.

Aside from the sharpening issue (Have you downloaded Tony's sharpening actions?) the only comment/suggestion I have is that I think this would make a wonderful panoramic. Crop maybe about 1/2 of the shadow area at the bottom remove the ridge of rock and small dark "pocket" and this will make for a fine pano. The length of the light stricken rock formations and long clouds and color up top would be nicely enhanced with the crop I think. Just a thought.

Beautiful image, hopefully you can get the sharpening worked out for next time.

Rick, I appreciate your composition a lot and enjoy the delightful colors. The inclusion of the foreground rocks adds some further sense of depth to me.

As there are very interesting textures for me in the foreground as well as in the distance, I think your image would benefit from proper sharpening. Otherwise, a very appealing work to my eye.
